NORTHBOUND Experience is gained through exploration and trial and error. An evolving process that is not necessarily linear, but leads to change. In 2023, I focussed my photography on the place I was in, rather than specifically seeking out photogenic locations and finding interesting angles. As a result, I photographed less „cleverly“, but more emotionally. Since 2021, I have been compiling a book each year with my photographs from the previous year. It’s not necessarily about the „best“ images, but rather a selection that best reflects what moved me photographically during that time. Together, they tell the story of my photographic year – in the way that feels most authentic to me. Each year, I follow a slightly different approach, whether consciously or unconsciously. I evolve.
